WINTER IS GOING. AND THE DATE IS 2035.
It is being estimated that the Glaciers in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas are retreating so fast that most central and eastern Himalayan glaciers could virtually disappear by 2035. Watch this video while we still have time.
Dear Planetarians,
Climate Change is real. The great Himalayan glaciers are melting faster than ever before and NOW is all we have to take measures in the right direction. My friend Swapnil and I, Niraj, are sharing this knowledge with fellow humans and seek your partnership.
IT'S-A CLIMB, LITERALLY.
We embark on an 8-months long journey across India for our project Care for Climate.
We’re raising funds for Care for Climate to create purposeful awareness of Climate Change and its effect on the Himalayan Glaciers.
We Climb mountains and Rock faces.
We visit municipal schools of those areas and educate kids about the Melting glaciers in Indian Himalayas.
We promote small changes one can rather make in their daily lives to protect Nature.
What Changes?
Responsible consumption of single-use plastic products. No big deal, but creating a habit among people will soon make a big difference. Take a look at the scope. We have a touch base with 120 underprivileged schools in the Regions Abu, Manali, Ladakh, Sahyadri, Badami, Bangaluru, Hampi, Sikkim. We will cover as many schools as possible with our Earth-friendly Habits Kit. The benefactors of the mountains will turn guardians. And its young citizens will create the global impact that climate change seeks today.
We’ll be trekking Stok kangri, Golaib kangri, Hanuman TIbba, Frey Peak, Panchachuli Base Camp, Hansling and Multi-pitch rock climbing in Bengaluru, Tiruchirappalli, Hampi and Badami region.
Oh, and don’t worry about us, we are hobby mountaineers!
